Brand History

Slovenia is home to Sava, a home-grown brand which has over 85 years experience in the manufacturing of high-quality rubber products. Sava has grown steadily since its foundation and has consequently won a 35% share of the local car tire market; establishing itself as a Slovenian icon.

1997 saw Goodyear’s initial partial purchase of the Sava tire division, with a 100% ownership status achieved by 2004. Sava has become a member of the Goodyear family of brands and has seen growing sales success throughout Europe ever since; especially within the western European market.
