Caring for your tyres

All tyres will wear out gradually, but you can extend the life of your Sava tyres and ensure optimal performance with regular tire maintenance.

If you notice a significant drop in performance it may be time to talk to your dealer - for example, if your tyres fail to handle properly on wet surfaces, don’t hold their grip while braking and cornering, or vibrate excessively. Your tyres could need balancing, rotation or alignment, or you may need to invest in a new set.

Maintaining correct tyre pressure: Correct tyre pressure is essential for optimal tyre and vehicle performance. Properly inflated tyres will last longer and ensure safer driving, so make sure to regularly check your pressure. Find out more about tyre inflation here.

Tread inspection: Your tyre treads should be regularly checked for any evidence of excessive or uneven tread wear, as well as any damage. Find out more here about what your tread can tell you, and if you may need to speak with your dealer.

Tyre rotation: tyres should be rotated every six months, or every 10,000-12,000km, to ensure even wear across their treads and extend their life. Find out more about rotating your tyres here.

Tyre replacement: Regular inspection and maintenance of your tyres will prolong their life, but all tyres will wear out eventually. Find out when to replace your tyres.
